“ Bar none the best fish and chips anywhere! The batter is perfect too, nice and light and doesn't overwhelm the flavour of the fish! Fish is always super fresh as well as it comes in right off the dock. It is a little on the pricey side, but you pay for freshness and quality. Adult meal is plenty filling as well, comes with a good serving of fries and coleslaw. ”
“ Update May 22, 2023 Ordered the adult meal and small meal today. Everything was very good. The fish was on point. Crispy batter on the outside that wasn't over oil and fresh fresh fish on the inside. It was so damn good. The fries were on point too. Very crispy and hot out of the fryer. Coleslaw was seasoned well and much better than previous time. Price is very high. I think they have gone up, just like everything else in the world. But the price is near unreasonable for some fresh fish and potatoes. 30.71 for the adult. 18.64 for the small meal. One thing to note. It was not busy today when I went. There were no lines to order or to pick up. Perhaps when it's very busy, quality goes down a bit? Just a hypothesis. P.s. ask for the Kraft tarter sauce. The Old Style one is of much lesser quality. Tastes fatty with less flavor. When's the last time you saw a bottle of Old Style tarter sauce since being sold on grocery store shelves? Previous review: Expensive and okay It's always a place to stop by if you are in Killarney. It will definately hit the spot after a long canoe trip in Killarney. Fish is crispy and not too oily. Fries are okay. Tartar sauce is packaged stuff. They only give one tiny package so ask for more if that's your thaaang. Coleslaw is meh. Nice to change up the taste. Would I go here on the regular? No. One time thing cuz u are visiting sure. Do I go in Sudbury since they have a location there? No, cuz it's a Killarney thing yo. ”
“ Spent the weekend in Killarney and had to check out the best fish and chips in town. The fish was fresh, and fries were tasty. They had lots of condiments if you're looking to add some flavor to your meal. There is a great view out the window of the lake. Herbert's did not disappoint. Excellent experience. Highly recommend! ”
“ Super fresh fish and chips! Never had this kind of fish before, it’s smaller, flaky and fresh! They pair up great with the beer they offer from tap! Had two meals their through out our camping trip in Killarney. ”
“ This is basically one of the "must visit" places if you're in the area. For many people, this is a destination place and the rest of the area is just a bonus. The dive is gorgeous to get here and well worth it. Once you arrive, it's clear this is a great place just based on how busy it always is. Don't let the crowds deter you though as their service is efficient. The food is delicious and the portions are decent. The menu pic is really just to give you an idea of what's available. Thanks to our ever changing economy, those prices will fluctuate. Either way it's well worth it. The next bonus is the location. They are right at the marina so there is plenty to see. So many big (and expensive) boats to look around at. You can take a walk all the way down to the resort as well. Overall, this is a great place to take the family out for a nice day of adventure and food. ”
“ Yummy fish and chips. Service was fast and the lady working there was kind. It was about 30 for the adult meal, but it was such a big portion and I felt so stuffed after (probably didn't need to get the adult meal). Their fish was locally caught pickerel which is delicious. Service was fast and efficient. I give the food a 4/5 because I prefer a more crispy batter, but that's just personal preference. I would come back again when I'm in the area. ”
“ We stopped here after our backwoods camping trip in Killarney Provincial Park. Wow, the most incredible fish I've ever had. It may have been enhanced by the fact that our backwoods meals were quite meager, and this tasted like heaven. Either way, highly recommend if you're in the area. ”
“ I liked the fish and chips, to eat there is a good option if you are in city. ”
